  • HOW DOES IT WORK?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that stimulates collagen production in the skin by creating tiny punctures using fine needles.

Collagen induction therapy is another term for microneedling, highlighting the procedure's ability to promote natural collagen synthesis, resulting in firmer and smoother skin.

This treatment is designed to improve the appearance of various skin concerns, such as wrinkles, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.

  • PRE-TREATMENT CARE

Microneedling is not suitable for pregnant individuals. Please inform us of any medical conditions, including pregnancy, susceptibility to cold sores or fever blisters, allergies, recent facial treatments or surgeries, and all current medications (prescription and over-the-counter) such as Accutane, tetracycline, hormone replacement therapy, or Retin-A usage.

Patients need to discontinue Accutane use for six months before undergoing microneedling treatment. Refrain from IPL/laser procedures, unprotected sun exposure, and tanning beds for two weeks before the appointment. Additionally, avoid using irritating skincare products like Retin-A or OBAGI one week prior to the treatment.

  • POST-TREATMENT CARE

Following your microneedling treatment, it is normal to experience redness and a sunburn-like sensation in the treated area. This typically lasts for one to three days, during which it is essential to properly care for your skin. On the day of the treatment, avoid washing your face and make sure to change your pillowcase to prevent any irritation or infection.

While it may be tempting to resume your regular skincare routine quickly, it's important to give your skin time to heal. It is recommended to wait at least 24 hours before washing your face and applying make-up, allowing the skin to recover from the microneedling procedure. To protect your newly treated skin, apply sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher after washing your face and continue using sunscreen daily for the following seven days.

As your skin begins the healing process, it is crucial to avoid applying skincare products containing active ingredients for a minimum of 72 hours after treatment. This allows your skin to fully absorb the benefits of the microneedling procedure without any interference from potentially irritating ingredients. By adhering to these post-treatment guidelines, you'll be well on your way to achieving beautiful, rejuvenated skin.

  • IMPROVES AND DIMINISHES SCARS

Reducing Acne Scars Through Skin Regeneration

Microneedling is an effective treatment for reducing the appearance of acne scars by promoting skin regeneration. By stimulating the skin's natural healing process, microneedling encourages the production of new, healthy skin cells to replace damaged ones, resulting in a smoother and more even complexion.

Minimizing Surgical and Injury Scars through Collagen Stimulation

This innovative treatment minimizes the appearance of surgical and injury scars by stimulating collagen production. As collagen is the main building block of healthy skin, increased collagen synthesis helps to rebuild and strengthen scarred tissue, leading to a more refined and less noticeable scar.

Enhancing Overall Skin Tone by Evening Out Scar Coloration

In addition to smoothing out the texture of scars, microneedling can also improve overall skin tone by evening out the coloration of scars. The treatment promotes skin cell turnover, which helps to fade and blend scar pigmentation with the surrounding healthy skin.

  • BOOSTS COLLAGEN PRODUCTION

Stimulating the Body's Natural Healing Process

Microneedling stimulates the body's natural healing process, promoting the synthesis of collagen and elastin. These proteins are essential for maintaining firm, youthful-looking skin, and their increased production leads to long-lasting improvements in skin elasticity and firmness.

Encouraging Long-Lasting Improvements to Skin Firmness and Elasticity

By boosting collagen and elastin production, microneedling treatments encourage lasting improvements in the skin's firmness and elasticity. This helps to maintain a youthful appearance and can delay the visible signs of aging.

Maintaining Youthful Skin Appearance and Delaying Signs of Aging

Microneedling not only treats existing skin concerns but also helps to prevent future signs of aging. By increasing collagen and elastin levels, the treatment supports healthy skin structure, resulting in a firmer, more youthful complexion over time.

  • TREATS FINE LINES AND WRINKLES

Increasing Collagen and Elastin Production for Smoother Skin

The microneedling process increases the production of collagen and elastin, which helps to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. These proteins are responsible for providing the skin with strength and flexibility, so their increased synthesis results in a more youthful appearance.

Addressing Crow's Feet, Forehead Lines, and Smile Lines

Microneedling effectively targets common signs of aging, such as crow's feet, forehead lines, and smile lines. By stimulating collagen production and promoting skin regeneration, the treatment reduces the depth and appearance of these wrinkles, leaving behind smoother, tighter skin.

  • IMPROVES PORE SIZE

Microneedling works to unclog and clear pores by exfoliating dead skin cells. The treatment removes debris and impurities, allowing pores to breathe and function properly.

Tightening and Minimizing the Appearance of Enlarged Pores

By stimulating collagen and elastin production, microneedling tightens the skin and minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores. This results in a smoother, more refined complexion with fewer visible pores.

Reducing Sebum Production and Preventing Future Pore Clogging

Microneedling treatments also help to reduce sebum production, which can prevent future pore clogging and breakouts. This ensures that your skin stays clear and healthy even after your treatments are complete.

  • EVENS HYPERPIGMENTATION

Promoting Skin Cell Turnover for Smoother Skin Texture

Microneedling promotes skin cell turnover, resulting in a smoother and more even texture. This process encourages the shedding of old, damaged skin cells and the growth of new, healthy ones, leaving you with a refreshed and revitalized complexion.

Addressing Sunspots, Age Spots, and Melasma by Breaking Up Pigment Deposits

The microneedling treatment is effective in addressing hyperpigmentation issues such as sunspots, age spots, and melasma. By creating micro-injuries in the skin, the treatment encourages the breakdown of pigment deposits and promotes a more even distribution of melanin.

Encouraging a Brighter, More Even Skin Tone with Continued Treatments

With continued microneedling treatments, your skin will gradually become brighter and more even in tone. The ongoing stimulation of collagen production and skin cell turnover ensures that your complexion remains radiant and youthful-looking.
